And the winner is ..... Munksjö Paper

With a spectacular appearance at the Interzum in Cologne in May 2005, Munksjö Paper GmbH caused an absolute sensation. Already during the course of the fair, many qualified visitors agreed that the Munksjö stand was a highlight of the whole fair. This view has now been officially confirmed: with the presentation of the prestigious ADAM Award in gold, the coveted prize of the German fair and event industry. Organiser is the FAMAB, the “Fachverband Konzeption und Dienstleistung für Messe und Event.” The competition is held once a year, giving awards for outstanding examples of conception, marketing and design in commercial fairs. From more than 100 projects submitted, the Munksjö Paper fair presentation received the “Gold” award during the 7th Deutscher Eventtag in Düsseldorf on 2 December 2005 in a festive, gala prize-giving ceremony. In the opinion of the jury,  “a minimalistic design idea had been translated into a powerful gesture.” The symbol of infinity became a never-ending story, because the company was characterised without the appearance being too strongly product-related. The Munksjö stand made it convincingly clear that symbolism and reduction can develop more power, and express a greater degree of explicitness than attempts to represent an entire range of performance by means of product presentations. The aim of the stand presentation was to represent the Munksjö Paper company group  and its declaration on behalf of performance, innovation and quality in a perceptible form of experience architecture. The stand itself was characterised by an apparently hovering “paper band” positioned diagonally across the stand area. In combination with Munksjö’s fair slogan “premium performance by munksjö paper”, this “paper band” – twisted in the form of a Möbius loop – was a symbol for the dynamism and worldwide activities of Munksjö Paper.  he Decor Division of Munksjö Paper, with its production sites in Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden and USA, is a worldwide leading manufacturer of innovative decor papers for floorings, kitchen furnishings,  furniture, facades and various forms of interior architecture. More than 870 employees at a number of international locations produce and supply approx. 25% of the world demand for high quality papers.
